The Elephant Ear (Colocasia), an impressive, tropical plant has heart shaped leaves ranging from purple/black, green or green/white in color. They prefer full, indirect sun and sandy, well drained, peat-rich soil.

- Indoors – can grow to be up to 5ft tall
- Outdoors – can be grown in a sheltered area in zones 8-11
